My experience is with the Aqua one oakstyle 230 aquarium, nice large viewing space to see all fish. Lights make the colours of the fish pop ,vary happy to start with . Some negatives. the filtre I feel could do with an upgrade as it didn't seem powerful enough to give good water flow around the tank, so i added a second filter. The openings at the back of the tank to fit pipes and cables etc they are not very big ,could be bigger .the glass lids are an accident waiting to happen as the plastic sides barely hold the glass in place .and worst of all .the tank split just out of its 1 year warrenty .I was told by aque one they would look at it if I got the tank back to them or world of water the shop I bought it from ,after returning the tank to them they came to the conclusion that it was down to me as I must have knocked the tank from above.i called Aqua one and asked them to look into my query of possible reason for break of where the tank was supposedly hit,because in infact its where the lights are clamped on and potentially putting pressure and stress on the glass when moving the lights up and down every time to clean the tank . (Keeping discus that was 3 times a week) Making it a defect in the tank design. Aque one we're supposed to call back But no reply as yet over 3 months ago.its impossible to knock the back and top as the tank as its over 4.5 feet high .I used a set of steps to get above to clean .not holding my breath for a response from them going forward Date of experience: 05 November 2022

Aquarium started leaking a couple of weeks after the warranty expired, they said they couldn't replace or even fix it. Leaked into the downstairs flat and damaged the stand as well. They said the stand wasn't covered under warranty. I've had aquariums from many manufacturers in the past and never had a problem until now. Cost me hundreds of pounds, absolute nightmare, avoid Aqua One at all costs!
