After the closing of the Aqua in Blackheath when COVID closed everything down.. it never reopened so we decided today to come to the Aqua in Bromley just to see if the Aqua name was being lived up to and could Bromley indeed be on par with Blackheath... Upon arrival we were given the choice of either waiting for a table on the quiet side or being seated at a table on the rather noisy side, not wanting to wait we took a table on the noisy.side.and began our dinning experience... Now every restaurant I visit I always try their scollops as you can always tell a lot about a chef who cooks his/her scollops, wether their freshly brought/ freezer brought etc etc, My ones came wrapped in bacon on a mushy green sauce .. the bacon added great flavour to the scollops ..but my only gripe was the presentation. Other than that 10/10! I also had fillets of veal on a pillow of mash potato and spinach, the veal was cooked to absolute perfection and literally melted in my mouth 10/10 again, Service was Also 10/10 from bar staff to our waiter who was very knowledgeable about the closing of the Blackheath branch to which I informed him that we will be indeed using this as our Aqua restaurant from hence forward...!

My first family meal following major surgery and we had a nice experience for my first restaurant visit in months. We all enjoyed our meals, the food had good flavour and was well presented. And the Sunday lunch menu is good value for money. Would consider going back in the future.

A friend and myself went for lunch today (Sunday) we got a really lovely 3 course meal for just under £20 which I think is fantastic value for money. The staff are very friendly and efficient and worth the included gratuity. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated with a relaxed atmosphere. I'll definitely be going again and would highly recommend a visit. Thank you for an extremely tasty lunch 😋

We were glad it was not too busy as we had a child with us. Family of 4 plus the child. The food was scrumptious especially the belley of pork. Good choices from the set menu.

I attended the Bromley branch with my partner for a late lunch. We ate from the set menu, which was actually tasty. However to my dismay, towards the end of our meal, a woman entered the establishment with a large dog that resembled a pitbull/staff. She sat at the stool in the middle of the room, with her dog blocking the walkway to the toilet, which I wanted to use. I was extremely alarmed as not only do I have a phobia of large dogs, I am also allergic!!!! My partner and I waited at our table, hoping to catch the eye of one of the staff, however they were busy petting the animal as well as handling tender and moving crockery! When we did get someone’s attention and explained the circumstances, they merely offered to ask the lady to move the dog out of the way when I wanted to pass. At this point we asked and paid for the bill and left. Therefore I would summarise by saying that although the food was nice, my visit left me with concerns in relation to health and safety awareness and hygiene standards.
