We have been buying our roses from Apuldrum Roses for a while so when we heard about their pruning masterclass we booked on straight away and I am very glad we did. Jonathan and Elizabeth are so friendly and welcoming and were so informative. We learnt where we had been going wrong all these years and came home to start pruning ours immediately. ‘Pruning Masterclass’ On a very cold, windy March Saturday morning I headed off to find out how to prune my climbers that I had bought from Apuldram Roses previously. I was met by a friendly group of people who it seemed, like me, had no idea where to start! Elizabeth and Jonathan gave us all the advice we needed in an informal, easy to understand way. We were even let loose on some specimens to ‘prune’ in the gardens. There was plenty of time for Q & A throughout and advice on gloves and secateurs … not to mention a lovely cup of coffee and slice of cake at the end. Thanks both for a very informative and fun morning.

The owners were welcoming, fabulous, informative, the morning was incredibly reasonable and we were given coffee and cake, plus some free range eggs!
