Stayed at Yew Tree Cottage for a week and it was absolutely perfect for a couple with a dog. Lovely location next to the river for walks. The bed was huge and super comfortable. My husband and I have just returned with out two dogs from a stay at Orchard Cottage. We could not have wished for a more perfect setting for us humans as well as the our animals. The cottage was clean, comfortable, safe, warm with all the equipment needed for a wonderful relaxing break. The garden was fabulous, especially for our disabled dog. We chose exactly the right time to holiday as the apple tree blossom was at its height right outside our cottage door.. I shall long have memories of eating my breakfast looking at it. Although the cottage is some five miles away from the town and shops of Howden (a very charming place) therefore, food shopping before you reach your destination is a must; this just added to its charm. Thank you so much to Vivienne and her family for making this a first class experience. Ian, Leslie, Lola and Mildred.

Had the most beautiful stay this weekend. The room was gorgeous, the bed was comfy and the grounds are stunning. Vivienne really looked after us, made sure we had a gorgeous breakfast each morning and she has a fantastic sense of humour. She has truly made our experience a lovely one. Rufus - we have absolutely fallen in love with him and would take him home in a heart beat! He's the 9 year old Labrador who resides here and he is just gorgeous! He has a beautiful temperament and would happily let you fuss him all day long! An overall lovely experience. Thankyou for having us!
