Most (all?) other stores with click & collect: turn up with a code, non-genius heads out back, comes back with your order. Apple Store: turn up with code, try to catch the attention of one of 30 genius, first one has to defer to another genius, second one scans your QR code, than spends five minutes tapping on their iPhone, then heads out back to collect the order, before coming back several moments later with the order. We then also asked to partially amend the order, which they could not do, asking us to do it online instead. However, as I had given my wife's email address as the 'collector' (despite ordering through my Apple account), Apple has processed it as a 'Guest Checkout', not allowing me to amend the order. After partially cancelling the corresponding part of the order, I asked if we could directly buy the alternative item: too difficult for a genius to process. I had to be entered on to their booking system. To...buy...a...single...off...the...shelf...product. Absolute genisu.

Absolute disaster show of a store filled with incompetent yet arrogant staff. Six days to repair a phone that they themselves bricked. iPhone 14 Pro Max as well. Their replacement offer while I waited was an iPhone 8. Avoid this store. Do it all online.
