This was my first time there but won't be my last. I was bought this day as a present. Excellent tutoring, well looked after and came home with a fire poker and a viking knife. Would recommend if you want to be a blacksmith for a day

I visited with my boy on 6th March for their sword making experience. We both had a really great day and the quality of the sword at the end was first class - better than expected! Where you get a of guidance and help from the team (lovely bunch) it's very much a case of you doing the work. My son loved the whole day and loves his sword. With thanks to John and the team for a wonderful day. Highly recommended!

Two days of pure creative joy is the presence of master craftsmen. We had an instructor to ourselves who got to know us quickly and bespoked the days to meet our needs. The other men took time out of their own work day to check on us and give us tips and praise. I loved the work, the welcome, the stories that were told and of course the final output!

Had an experience day, and it was fantastic. The instructors Paul and Chris were brilliant, taught us loads and I left with a fire poker and a cannon, all from scratch with help on the bits I couldn't do, i.e. welding, but plenty of parts forged, cut, formed, bent, pressed and ground by myself. John, who runs the operation, helped put the plan together beforehand and everyone was great to work with. My dad made an artsy outdoor light fixture, and the three others made wicked looking Viking theme knives.
