    * 2023 Edit: has since changed hands, updates sound so promising and look forward to visiting again this summer!* Such an impressive selection but overall an extremely frustrating place. I’ve wanted to visit for years but being limited to a Monday is difficult, finally went the week after a mate did; she was greeted at the door and saw more sellers around; I arrived around 1pm and saw no one until I got upstairs, and most didn’t have anyone close to assist or sell. I must’ve seen over a dozen things I would have bought but zero people to buy it from or inquire with, and almost no stalks had anything priced other than furniture. Some stalls had items overflowing between then, or weren’t signed with their stall number. Truly poor experience.. Downstairs is mostly large furniture, framed wall art and unique decor, whereas upstairs is mostly smaller goods including toys, and kitchen stuff. It’s a great way to spend an hour, just peering at all of the things (some of it is so packed you daren’t even touch it), but some days you might be prevented from buying a single thing just due to missing sellers.

    This couple who are now running the place are Dynamite!! In a very short time they have transformed this trading hove into a place with bustling atmosphere, lifted the entrance to the premises with a green silk corridor flanked with display glass cabinets full of antiquities, collectables....you name it, it's there!! Much more to do upstairs but time will tell what this friendly couple and staff will do yet to this Old Antiques Market!!

    Fun walking round the antique stalls. Everyone very warm and friendly. Lots of stuff to look at and search through. Good cafe, lovely hot fresh cooked food and very reasonably priced.

    Wow, what a place, lots of stalls within this antiques market place. A bit pricey for my liking, but didn't try to barter to be fare. Lots to see and plenty for all. It was like a tardis, room after room. Definitely worth a visit. Parked in sainsbury car park opposite, £2 for 2 hours and walked across as no parking available. Won't be rushing back myself but will let you see what you think, it's only my opinion and you all might find it right up your street, depends what your after. Reception was great and explained the layout to us before we ventured around.

    Enjoyed browsing here. But sadly not the place it used to be. Lots of stalls closed or empty. A lot of stalls very untidy and piled up high so difficult to look at things. Really needs a good old tidy and clean up with a better window display to attract more customers.
