Wouldn't say this is the best phsyc ward to go to as I feel some staff use their power against you and im you when it's not needed however their is some staff here that are so nice and understanding and helpful and the doctor is very understanding and is trying to make things right and give us what we think we need and if you're safe enough to go home you will go home pretty quickly thank you so much antalope house for helping me through one of the worst times of my life

The place was dysfunctional and disorganised they managed to lose my phone and months later after over 10 times of trying to phone they still haven't sent me a claim form and don't intend doing so so it seems. I actually got worse in this hospital but luckily I was sent somewhere else and am doing much better now.

I'm severely bipolar, and due to suicidal depression, I was sectioned in this "hospital". First off, the good bits, the carers, general staff and nurses were brilliant with me. And I can see they are trying to help. But, and this is the main reason for most of the complaints published on this site, the MAJORITY of the problems with this department is the doctors. These doctors do not listen to the patients nor the other staff members. My report from these "professions" was about 10% fact and 90% misheard BS. This resulted in most of my bipolar medication being removed from my care. And due to being refused any access to a doctor to correct these mistakes since then, I've been left in a worse position than had I never attended this hospital, and without access, my suicide is just a matter of days away. So thank you to the doctors that couldn't be bothered. My suicide is on your hands (not that doctors nor the NHS actually understands the meaning of accountability).

As of April 2022, This places still requires you to do a COVID test to see patients, otherwise, they will reject you from seeing any Patients. it's unjust policy. one time, they said that they had no COVID tests. this place is terrible and should be shut down for its unjust Policies.

My sister was sectioned a week ago and they did absolutely nothing to help her they think she is ready to go home and sent her home yesterday as she is the exact same as when she went in. If she succeeds in suicide I will 100% be blaming antelope house! They have don’t nothing nothing at all ! My mum and her husband have begged and told them she is not ready to come home and they don’t listen ! All they care about is having beds free.
