When our much loved Mum and Nannan died in March 2022 it was the most heartbreaking time for all of us, naturally. When Anna visited us to discuss the funeral we all immediately took a liking to her. She was warm, kind, caring and she really listened to our tales of family times. The service she delivered was second to none and it was almost as if she knew our Mum personally. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough. A wonderful Celebrant.

Great funeral celebrants create great funeral services by spending time with the deceased’s family and/or friends to talk about their loved one and their memories of them. Great celebrants then write a bespoke and personal service to reflect the families wishes and capture the essence of the deceased. Sadly, memories of a loved one are not always cherished. Sometimes the deceased has left a family with conflicting emotions. Writing those services is much harder than the ones full of love and light, and demand even more skill of the celebrant. Anna Bushell demonstrated such skill at a funeral she conducted today. She set the perfect tone, captured the character of the deceased without either hypocrisy or, just as important, indiscretion. Entirely appropriate, professional and respectful. Therefore, Anna Bushell is a great celebrant!
