I spent a lovely few days at this hotel while attending a professional training course. I really enjoyed my time. There's a nice gym nearby, and an amazing popular spa too. There's a golf course too, which I didn't have time to check out. My hotel room was impeccable, the hotel staff were elegant and very helpful and courteous, the restaurant was great too. I intend to return again with my partner, use the spa and try some golf.

Conference facilities are in need of investment. A lack of attention shows throughout the older areas. One guest commented on the inappropriate music (Sam Fender live including multiple obscenities) playing in the Rib Room area as being unprofessional and not what you'd expect in a conference venue aspring to be 4+stars.

The carvery was cold and mostly grissel. The potatoes lacked flavour and all the veg was soft. Probably an ok place if you like school dinners have a hatred of flavour. Urg, cold roast dinner, so disappointing.
