I have no issues with the practice doctors/nurses but struggle to get on with the reception staff. I’ve just got off the phone with one in particular - really quite patronising when asking a simple question re. ordering repeat prescriptions and received a condescending response. Reception staff might need a bit of up to date customer service training!!

Called the surgery this morning and what a pleasant experience, a really friendly, polite receptionist answered and was very nice and helpful. A massive change to previous experiences over the years I’ve been with the surgery and a very welcomed one

I have attended this practice from the age of 16 when I lived down the parkway I married in 1974:and moved out of the boundary but carried on staying at the surgery . 57 years later I have been given 28 days notice to relocate to another doctors .I find this totally unacceptable when I am being treated for different ailments apparently I have to move because of new build houses and they take priority over me .totally fuming

I have been with this practise for forty years. In the last five years I have had to rely on this practise to keep me alive. I use System Online to send my repeat prescriptions and they have always gone to the pharmacy. I have never found the receptionists rude but then I realise that they have a difficult job and have to do the best they can with all the requests they get. I am quite happy to say why I want to consult the doctor. If the receptionist suggests another person or service, I’ll try it. It often means I get my problem looked at more quickly and then if that person thinks I need more medical attention, I’m directed to where is applicable.

Every time I have needed help and advice they have been great. My son fell off his bike today and they were very helpful and the nurse saw him

Countless prescriptions not sent, samples lost. The majority of receptionists are ridiculously rude that it actually puts you off contacting them. How a surgery can be ran this badly with no consequences is nothing short of shocking.

Just been chucked out of this practice after 60 years because I live over the border in hull. Dr Best would not have countenanced this. Outraged and disappointed.

Nothing but praise for this surgery. Phones answered every time. Extremely helpful with my mum. Prescriptions ordered and delivered in the main the same day. I myself am with Modility at Springhead, phones never answered, queues on the phone 50+. Anlaby surgery is excellent.
