FAQ
What is the adoption process?
Our adoption process begins with an application form that can be found on our website or picked up at the shelter. Once the application is received, we conduct a home visit to ensure the potential adopter is a good fit for the animal. If everything checks out, we schedule a meet-and-greet with the animal and the adopter. If all parties are comfortable, we finalize the adoption with an adoption fee and necessary paperwork. What kind of support and resources do you provide to new pet owners?
We offer a variety of resources and support to new pet owners, including educational materials on pet care, training tips, and behavior advice. We also have a network of volunteers who can provide assistance and mentorship, as well as partnerships with local veterinarians for medical care. Additionally, we offer training classes and workshops to help owners build a strong relationship with their new pet. What is the cost of utilizing your shelter services?
The cost of utilizing our shelter services varies depending on the service. Adoption fees for animals range from £50 to £200, depending on the animal. Surrendering an animal to our shelter is free, but we do appreciate donations to help cover the cost of care. Our educational programs and workshops are also free or low-cost.How long can individuals stay in your shelters?
Our shelters do not have a set time limit for how long individuals can stay. We work with each individual on a case-by-case basis to ensure they receive the necessary care and support to find a permanent home. Some animals may be adopted quickly, while others may require more time and resources.Do you offer any education or outreach programs for the community?
Yes, we offer a variety of education and outreach programs for the community. We provide educational materials and workshops on pet care, animal welfare, and responsible pet ownership. We also work with local schools to provide educational programs for students. Additionally, we partner with other organizations to promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership in the community.Reviews

We have had private sessions with AnimalEd and it was incredible! The girls really know their stuff and were so kind and patient with my then 5 year old boy. Both Charlie and Tiana struck the perfect balance between being professional and friendly and approachable. We learned so much and I also was able to hold a snake which I was previously scared of! We are looking to book them for my boys 7th birthday and we can’t wait to learn more from them! 🖤
