We worked with Annie to address my dog’s severe separation anxiety and confinement anxiety. We had to undo the fallout from a previous trainer who had used ‘dominance’ techniques and left my dog with more fear than ever, and we’d made no progress in a year and a half. Within 6 months of gradual threshold training he was no longer afraid of the crate, and could be left for four hours! Helping him overcome his fears with a gentle, science backed approach was much more effective for him and felt like a much kinder partnership. We now keep up with his socialising around other dogs by attending Annie’s group classes where each dog is managed according to their individual needs, and so provides a safe and controlled environment for them to learn in. After several poor trainers in the past, Annie is the only one I’d recommend now!

Annie really knows her stuff with dogs and even small tweaks she has suggested to us have made a massive difference with me and my rottie Pumba. Annie has helped us with general obedience, improving recall by helping us to condition the e collar safely, and working on neutrality to other dogs. Annie is always really calm during our sessions even when I feel panicked, and I can tell that she really wants what’s best for my dog. She has never made me feel judged or guilty for my dogs behaviour even when I’ve felt embarrassed or guilty myself, which is important for any dog trainer. Although Annie works with tools, I feel like she takes as force free approach as possible and looks at each dog as an individual rather than using a one size fits all approach. I would recommend Annie to anyone looking to improve their dogs behaviour, she has been so supportive to me and we will continue our training journey with her ❤️

Annie is incredible! We have 5 dogs and are temporarily fostering a 6th and wanted someone to come to our house to help with our youngest who was becoming more reactive and unpredictable with the other dogs. Annie took time to take the history of all our dogs, not just him, and has given us heaps of things we can do to try and help him. From recommending different food for him, different ways to play and keep his mind occupied, training methods, even down to informing us of medication he could be on. I’m so happy with her visit and hopefully our little boy will love the changes!

Thank you Annie!!!! I have had 3 online session with Annie, where she has given clear and concise instruction of how I can deal with my 10 month old puppy, Bruce’s mild, but could become concerning, reactivity. As a result of following some of instructions I feel that Bruce is A LOT calmer around the house. I wish that I’d known of Annie when we got Bruce because her straight talking, to the point way counteracts my inability to see the wood for the trees. Which would’ve been useful when I was experiencing what people have told me is called the ‘puppy blues’!! We are still working on other issues, but I am confident that with Annie’s support and advice that we will get where I’d like to be! Bruce is the most amazing dog, Annie is helping me become the best owner I can be.

We contacted Annie after being recommended to her by numerous people. I have a 8 month old pup & a 2.5 year old nervous dog. First online session was for our puppy, who has zero food drive, was pulling like a train & was so interested in other people whilst out that trying to regain her attention was near enough impossible. Annie asks so many questions to get the most in-depth insight into your lifestyle & current routines so she can cater a training programme to suit you! I’ll be booking another session for my nervous dog & I can’t wait to continue the progress I’ve made with him, with Annie! You have to put the work in, obviously, because no trainer can work real life miracles, but if you’re ready to put in the work, I would highly recommend Annie!
