I bought the Shakespeare Salt Surf Slayer Fishing Rod Combo Set, 12ft, Casting Weight: 4-6oz, Sections: 2 and highly recommend for first time beach and pier fishing,the only thing I’d suggest is maybes get a stronger fishing line for it for bigger fish but other than that happy with my purchase at this price as people are selling the same rod on social media for 50 pounds with nothing at all with it and a 12 foot sleeve works perfect for it for easy carrying about.
