  For all the good they did me, I may as well have wiped my backside with the money they received from us. They avoided contact until I cancelled further payments and that was just to tell me I wouldn’t get a refund because that’s the policy. Emails go unanswered and I have no idea how you would contact them at all without email. The first red flag is that they do not offer a telephone number to call. I did a follow up email after being told money would not be refunded and asked if they had an opinion on the wasted money we had spent. No reply to that. There is a bit in the contract that says if after a month you don’t get anywhere they will rewrite and reissue your pitch. They didn’t even mention that. Do yourself a favour I didn’t do myself: don’t give them any money.

  I am surprised by the negative reviews on this page. It's hard to raise investment right now but my company, Brillder, has used AIN on a few occasions and picked up a range of decent investors, including one of our most important angels. There are no doubt a few timewasters but there are genuine investors on this site. I suppose I wouldn't give 5 stars because you do have to work quite hard on the platform and some elements of the data you access are a bit clunky (e.g. hunting for really relevant investors), but it has been our most successful means of picking up angels and I thnk the interface for inputting your pitch is clean and effective. Also, we've used the top level (costs a couple of grand but you get useful guidance and feedback about your pitch and they certainly know what works and what doesn't), which may be worth it.

  Disgrace. Took my money and virtually nothing happened. Watch out for the fine print. It is a monthly subscription model and they refused a refund because I was outside the time limit to request a refund. Every contact has hit a brick wall and now nothing. Don't touch them.

  Hello - I would like to mention that I have had quite a negative experience of services. Customer success manager "Jim" replied 3 weeks ago with the following email after I cancelled our subscription citing that perhaps our investment opportunity was not right for the network. "It’s disappointing that you’ve not had much luck yet. I’d be happy to help rectify the situation! We often compare ourselves to a dating site – the most successful people have the most attractive, well-completed profiles. So, with a bit of tinkering with your pitch, we should be able to dramatically improve the interest you receive. In accordance with our refund policy, I’ll get one of our fundraising experts to re-write your pitch and then re-list it for another 30 days free of charge. Hopefully, we can find you some investors this time. Do you have any additional documents that could help us improve your pitch? If yes, please send those to me and if not please let me know so that we could use the existing information. Any recent data, updates, traction figures, or anything else that makes your business attractive would also be great." I sent across revised documents on the same day. However, 3 weeks, 4 emails later - I am yet to receive a response.

  Really poor experience with the platform. I registered in the hope of finding investment for my company. Was bombarded with messages from other platforms which encouraged me to join them and pay a fee. Sadly, one of the supposed investors was fraudulent and attempted to steal from our company. I don't think Angel Investing Network properly vets their 'investors' - I do think many of them are genuine however. I've tried messaging but have not received any response from the company.

  Clearly fraudulent practice going on here! We signed up for free listing. Nothing (fine), so then paid for next Tier. We had 3 messages back, however once the paid period was over the ability to continue messaging was terminated (which therefore means that there is no actual functionality on the original free "listing" as they claim - otherwise it would revert back to this). (Also, of the 3 messages 1 did not reply when we responded and the other 2 attempted to sell us services and had no interest in investing!). Was offered more and more free nudges, extended listing etc. after complaining...but no explanation of the fraud which was dodged after mentioning it twice. DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS!

  Do not use this organisation. They look the part, but it’s all smoke and mirrors. We loaded up our business and pitch, and didn’t get any genuine interest at all in 30 days. They told us we had to let them know five days before the next monthly payment was due or they won’t stick to their refund promise. Instead, they billed us another month. It’s a good job we can afford to waste £300. Avoid.

  Stay clear!!! Having signed up and paid hundreds to load my pitch on the Angel Investment Network I was approached by one 'investor' who wanted to export our solutions to Australia (who had no business experience or experience of our sector), another 'investor' who lured me into several long meetings only to try and sell me their services, another 'investor' who pretended to be a high net worth individual who indicated interest to invest $10m and took me through a due diligence process for it to turn out to be a hoax and another 'investor' who approached us only for us to later find out that they wanted us to parter with one of their other struggling portfolio companies, which made no sense. Yet another person approached us selling something else - at least they didn't first pretend to be an investor. I have raised >£720k from VCs and angels from other sources with the same business plan. I have not had any success with this platform. All the investors appear to be fake! I asked for my money back, in line with their 'Money Back Guarantee'. They tried to convince me to try for longer, which I did. When I then returned with no success, they said my money back guarantee period had expired and I was no longer eligible!! I am absolutely furious!! Had they told me that by accepting their request to try longer, that I would lose my refund which I was at the time eligible for, I would have never chosen to try it for longer. Stay away from this awful company! They are not for you and will not help you raise money - they will just take yours!
