A review doesn’t do Andy’s work justice! We chose to have a super small wedding and, at times, I felt guilty that we weren’t inviting more people. That feeling was thrown away completely when we got our photos and started showing them to friends and family. There were tears shed as everyone said how the photos made them feel like they had been there with us. Andy is a photography genius - and the nicest guy. From the moment we confirmed the date, he made us feel relaxed and as if we are the only couple he knows. His documentary style photography captured our day so perfectly and we could not be happier. The photos are incredible. Andy finds the best light and backgrounds - and then subtly takes us aside to capture artistic and unique photos. He is also a ninja - everywhere and nowhere. He added so much to our day and made it feel truly special. Even how Andy delivered our amazing photo slide show video was done with such care and love - and theatre. We could not recommend Andy more highly. He is truly the best.

Andy is an absolute gem. Charming, friendly and fun (to us and all our guests) plus incredibly talented. He worked almost every minute of our entire wedding day and captured photos more wonderful than we ever could have hoped. With his reportage style he seems to be everywhere all the time without you ever noticing (or feeling self conscious of the camera), capturing fleeting moments as well as staging shots in a natural, personal way. I truly don’t know how he does it - he’s got a gift for reading a room and understanding people. I couldn’t recommend Andy highly enough or thank him enough for his work. You’re a superstar, Andy.

We chose Andy Gaines as our photographer for our wedding on 08.08.2022 back in 2020 when we first got engaged. We knew when we first saw his photographs that we wanted to book him and after discussions with him over zoom, we knew for sure. Andy’s photos have the most incredible style to them and he manages to capture moments that are very special and unique. As a person, he is the loveliest man who wanted to make us feel very comfortable and who is willing to do everything he can to make the day perfect. We wanted some additional extras including videography from his (equally lovely) wife Abigail and some parts to be videoed in full and he was able to do this for us. He also asked a lot of questions about what we wanted out of our day and out of our photographs and made sure to accommodate those requests perfectly. On the day, both Andy and Abigail were fantastic: very friendly, putting us both at ease and making us feel very comfortable. They managed to be the perfect balance of invisible during intimate moments and kind and welcoming during discussions with ourselves and guests. They were incredibly professional throughout the entire day and Andy seemed to pre-empt every request we had and got photos that we didn’t even realise that we needed or wanted. They managed the day in many respects and kept us on track! They were also able to fulfil all of our requests in an amazing way, for example we had previously told Andy that we wanted photos with everyone but didn’t want to leave our drinks reception when we were having a good time. On the day, they realised that they could solve this problem by having our pictures taken in a spot within the courtyard where the drinks reception was taking place which was perfect. The preview photos that we have now received are unbelievably stunning and have made us both realise how lucky we were to have such an incredible photographer at our wedding. We can’t wait to see the rest and are sure they will be equally as amazing. Overall, we cannot recommend Andy and Abigail enough for their incredible work. If you want a lovely, dedicated and amazingly talented photographer to capture fantastic moments at your wedding while still having the best and most relaxed day of your life, look no further!
