Contacted Andrew about painting a room in our house. He was clear from the outset about what the job would entail, and why. Provided a quote which I was happy with and booked him there and then for six weeks later. For the four days in which he was working in our room, he began the day by explaining what he intended to do and ended the day by explaining what he had completed. He was very good about managing my expectations so I knew what was going on throughout (down to obvious things like how a wall in a Victorian terraced house would not look exactly the same as a wall in a freshly skimmed new build - I'd gathered as much, but I imagine some people don't). Polite and tidy throughout. Cleared up each day. Arrived exactly when he said he would. Given that I was working from home, he checked in to see if there were times when he should be quieter. Went above and beyond to make the room look better than I thought it would (including filling behind the skirting boards so there would be a smoother line between them and the wall). Would definitely recommend. Already planning to use his services again for the next job. Of note: very responsive to phone calls and texts, less so to emails. So just phone him.
