After 20 years I decided to dig out my old 90's Bauer Turbos, which immediately cracked beyond repair as soon as I tried them on... Gutted! This left me in a position of not really knowing what type of skates and accessories were out there nowadays that could live up to my old trusty Bauer Turbos. I found Olis Skate Shop online and made contact with them to talk though my situation and the designs/ideas I had flying around in my head. I wanted to create some modern Skates with a 90's Theme/Styling. Not just satisfied with 1 or 2 colours, I really wanted to mix and match everything so that they really were unique and stood out. Despite me being a fussy So and So.... Karl and Alison were absolutley brilliant from start to finish. Their time, advice and patients was absolutely priceless. I knew that my demands were very high but this was never to much trouble for them, and that is exactly why the finished product was totally mind-blowing and exceeded my original ideas and expectations! I'm from the States and I played competitive roller hockey many moons ago. During that phase, I never made the transition to inline skates. My daughter recently started skating so I thought it'd be fun to have a set of skates myself. The problem I had was that the availability of quad hockey skates are very few and far between nowadays. But, lo and behold, I discovered Oli's. And now I'm a proud owner of a set of their custom Bauer's. Just a great product and fantastic customer service (the international shipping was super easy). 5 stars plus!

Faultless service from start to finish. I called the shop for some advice before purchasing my skates and the lady couldn’t have been more helpful. Then made a follow up call once I received them for some advice on fit, lacing and moulding. Again, the service was top draw. If you want a pair of skates, buy them here!

Visiting from Australia, and due to family circumstances only had a short amount of time before flying back (two days). Phoned and discussed skates and was given friendly, genuine advice. Oli’s skate shop after becoming aware of my situation: worked on my skates through the evening and were ready to be picked up the next day.
