I have undertaken an introduction to Silver clay course with Amy and have a further course booked next month. As a tutor Amy in knowledgable and approachable, and ensured everyone in the group felt able to ask questions. It felt brilliant to learn new skills and knowledge about a subject area I’d been interested in for a while. I love popping into Amy’s shop, Amy is always happy to answer questions and I never leave empty-handed. I’m can’t wait to do my next course and looking forward to increasing my own knowledge & skills.

Amy made a gorgeous bangle for my mum’s 70th which features rings of all her grandchildren’s names. Great service and lovely product, my mum loves it and wears it every day.

I’ve spent 4 very happy and relaxing days learning from Amy in her fantastic studio - not done anything like this before - each time I’ve taken a little bit more confidence away with me! Amy is very patient and spends a lot of time demonstrating and explaining how to do lots of different techniques. Working alongside 5 others, the small class sizes are great too. I’m now going to try some of the techniques at home to see what I can make - I’ll be back for another class soon though…… it’s slightly addictive!

I've attended quite a few mixed ability silver workshops with Amy now (which I think speaks for itself as I keep coming back). I would really recommend these workshops as Amy is an excellent teacher, with lots of knowledge and patience. The silver studio at The Oxford Bead shop is spacious and well equipped with all the tools you can imagine. The really great thing about these workshops is you can come along with no experience whatsoever and will leave with a beautiful finished piece of jewellery you've made to gift or treasure yourself. If you keep coming back, like I do, you'll get the opportunity to make lots of different pieces, develop your skills and have lots of fun. Workshops are kept to small groups, so there is plenty of one to one teaching time and it's so inspiring to see what everyone else is making. There is also a well stocked shop adjacent to the studio so you can take home kits, tools or beads to continue making at home.

Amy is a very talented jewellery maker and what shines through in her shop and workshop is her passion and enthusiasm for sharing her love for this with others. I have attended her workshops and, along with another tutor, been taught so much. The friendly, relaxed environment is so inviting. Check out the www and you’ll see the beautiful things created and if, like me, you give it a try you’ll be amazed at what you can do too.

Perfect! I attended several of Amy’s classes over time. They are all great; it’s a day well spent, you learn something new, meet new people and you get to bring something you made home with you. Amy is lovely, really good tutor and fun too! I’d recommend her classes to everyone.
