    Odd experience where they decided not to sell a bike to me. I enquired about a 16yr old bike for sale, was sent a walkaround video but they couldn't start it due to no battery. Put a deposit down on the agreement it would be replaced and serviced prior to collection. They sent bank transfer details over email, I responded asking for a sales invoice and confirmation that the bike would be serviced and details of their warranty policy as personally I prefer to be a well-informed customer. I knew it was a 16yr old bike but they have a warranty in place for used bikes and I simply wanted to understand what it covered. I received an email in return informing me that they will be refunding my deposit as they had concerns I was not suited to purchasing the bike. I rang and spoke to one of their team members who confirmed this was their position as it was according to them in my best interest and that they dont usually sell older bikes to people who ask about the warranty and to save them the hassle they decided not to sell the bike to me and refund the deposit. It's their business and they are within their right to sell to whomever they want but obviously this leaves me dissatisfied and unlikely to purchase a bike from them or use/recommend their services in future which is a shame. Be careful what you ask for or you might end up in a similar situation.
