Really lovely atmosphere and super friendly and attentive waiting staff. Great build up and smells from the kitchen were lovely. Unfortunately can only give three stars as our taco shells were very stale and bendy- looked and tasted a bit too similar to the el paso ones you buy in tescos. From experience I know this brand has that as an issue. No issue with the tacos not being homemade, however as they were stale we were told by staff we could have soft ones instead... the chef refused that offer and stated "this is what they are supposed to taste like", refusing us the alternative. For a 19 pound dish, we were thrown off by quite a simple solution being rejected. I've so far never had a chef insinuate I'm wrong and dig their heels in like that, threw us off a bit. Everything else was good!

Visited on spec last night quite early after opening. Greeted with warmth and friendly hospitality. The staff there found a quiet table near the bar and allowed us as much time as we needed. Pre meal cocktails were a must and the food we ordered was outstanding. There are somethings that need pre ordering but even with those off the menu the choice was enough. Decor and quirk well it's nothing short of excellent. Thank you all for such a delightful evening. See you next time

If you do one thing in Ulverston, get yourself organised and book a table at Amigos! Absolutely fantastic food in a lovely setting with brilliant service as well. It's a cosy setting just right to enjoy some home cooked Mexican food on a cold Autumn evening. Well worth planning a trip there and booking in advance. You won't be disappointed!

Been many years since I last came here but will not be as long again till my next visit. All round excellent. Cocktails are fab and food was fast and delicious for a table of 12! Great staff and big portions for the money. Kid-friendliness: Kids meals on offer which are similar to normal but smaller and not spicy.
