Is it edible? Yes. Is it fine dining? Yes Is it good? No My girlfriend and I had the tasting menu and some of the items were bizarre. It was style and aesthetic first-rate than the actual food being any good. Interestingly, the head chef had a signature "pour a broth over a dish" technique, which didn't really add anything to dish. £800 is likely better spent at other fine dining menus. Sorry chef.

Had the pleasure of dining at Vinum the bar below Amethyst restaurant and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable - servers were knowledgeable, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The wine selection was impressive and the sommelier, Ennio was exceptional in his recommendations and pairings. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, with each dish showcasing the chef's skill and creativity. Special thanks to Chef Carlo for his culinary masterpieces! The manager, Orsi, also deserves recognition for her hospitality and making sure everything was perfect for us. Overall, Vinum exceeded my expectations in every way and I highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you to the entire staff for making our evening so special!

Came for my birthday a few weeks back. This place is a must visit for lovers of fine dining. It really is unique and inventive food at its best. Service is friendly and efficient. The big table is fun for a bit, however I think I'd prefer to be seated facing my partner for the majority of the meal. Food wise, definitely some of the best things I have ever eaten! Amethyst exemplifies why I love fancy restaurants. A brilliant experience. Thank you to the team for making my birthday so memorable and special thanks to the chef for creating such special food 🙂.
