Went to look at some wedges for an imminent purchase. Narrowed down to a Vokey and a Wilson Staff. Asked if I could give them a demo. Was told by the manager that he had someone coming in for a fitting and I couldn't use the bay. Seeing as the "fittee" hadn't arrived yet, I asked if I could the bay until they arrived without the launch monitor etc. "I'd rather not" was the response from the manager. If I'm dropping £100+ on a club, I'd like to get a feel for it first! Furthermore, being made to feel like your custom is worth less than someone who isn't even there is not my idea of good service. One star added for the app-assited advice from the manager and the positive attitude of the younger staff member. Other than that, really disappointed with the manager on this occasion.
