After my now-husband and I struggled with the accuracy of that, we went to Amble Pin Cushion for some expert advice. Norma took the measurements and made some suggestions about the dress, like changing the zip back to a corset back. When the toile came, I went back to Norma where she worked her magic. She made very detailed notes and markings, and pinned the train because the original length was overwhelming for my height. When the final product came it fit perfectly.
