I used to work on the Ambience when it was the Pacific dawn. My partner and I have not had the COVID jabs as we want to start a family and aren't yet satisfied with data surrounding fertility side-effects. We both would have loved to travel with Ambassador but could not due to policies which were in keeping with the medical climate at the time. It is now May 2023 and we still are not welcome aboard. Disgusting and unnecessarily medically discriminatory.

Been on several cruises before this one with different cruise lines. Ambassador need to come up to their level. 1. Food was below par compared to the other cruise lines. Most food lacked the flavor the dishes should have. Wife order steak medium rare and got a very rare steak. A lot of food was served mushy, under the covers too long. The deserts were definitely bad across the board, most had no sugar and zero flavor. Get something chocolate and where was the chocolate? 2 Linen on the bed, the bottom sheet was rough and cheap, wife compared to sandpaper. There was no option for the top comforter , we would have like something thinner. The comforter was to hot. 3. Couldn’t make the AC in the cabin work. 4, Service desk, couldn’t understand them due to heavy foreign accents, they seemed lost when asked a question. 5. Some bar staff couldn’t bring the drink you order. 6. On the cruise we missed 50% of the ports due to weather, cruise line needed to look at historical weather for April. 7. Being stuck at one evening table is not good, need to be able to move around and meet more guests. We had some unfriendly people at ours. Heard this from other people too. 8. A lot of the entertainment was scheduled to late, most of the passengers were seniors. Ambassador needs to improve in order to survive in the competitive cruise industry.

A proper cruise experience from the UK' s newest cruise company. The ship is an ole girl, but a proper ship, not like one of todays glass and steel monsters. The food is fabulous, the crew very polite and helpful, though they can get a little overstretched at busy times. Cabins are a little dated, but that is made up for with a spacious interior and plenty of storage space, as well as a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, and free to use safe. I have had two good sailings on Ambience and am currently looking forward to a third to Iceland in a few months' time.

My wife and I sailed on Ambience doing a round Britain cruise on April 3rd. The first half of the voyage went well, apart from a cancelled call into Tobermory., which could not be made due to high winds.The adverse weather ruined the latter part of the journey with calls to the Scilly isles Guernsey and Honfleur abandoned.The ship's crew are a friendly bunch generally, and the food and service in the main restaurant, excellent.But although the bars and public rooms are pleasent places to hangout, our cabin felt old ,sad and neglected. Dark wooden furniture, a TV that stopped being of any use att sea. Ther was rust visible in the shower and the shower mirror was badly tarnished.Ambassador please , on the next refurb remedy these faults, spend some money on the cabins and the Ambience will be near perfect!

We have just returned from our first cruise ever. Ambassador's Norway Northern lights cruise. Found the staff to be very attentive from our housekeeper to our brilliant waiters in the Buckingham Restaurant, Kadek and Kris. The outside cabin we had, on deck 5, had a queen double bed and very spacious, complete with fridge and plenty of storage. Entertainment was absolutly excellent and varied. The shows really were top notch. Plenty of activities to keep you occupied on board, including the lectures. We even got to see the Northern lights on 5 evenings 😮 Well done Ambassador. We found the embarkment and disembarkment very efficient at Tilbury Docks. Would fully recommend Ambassador and would like to say thank for a great 14 days 🤩 Looking forward to cruising with you again.

Returned early March 2023 from a fantastic, value for money cruise on the Ambience. The crew work so hard to please. Excellent top notch shows, great drama productions, music around the bars/lounges is delightful and the entertainment manager George is very warm and personable towards everyone. The inside cabin on deck 10 was bigger than some other cruise liners and the steward was brilliant. What’s not to like?

Just returned from our 3 weeks cruise to Cape Verde. It's our first cruise so we have no comparisons to make. However the quality of food, entertainment, friendliness and travel quality was fantastic. I cannot believe how they do it for the price because the value for money is way beyond any comparison!

Just got back from The Jewels of the Caribbean & Cuba . Had a wonderful time. I would give them 9.9 out of 10. Food great , entertainment great, crew could not do enough for you. Bit of hickup beginning and end. Tilbury not the best of places to deal with large numbers of people. But this the ports fault not the ship I feel. I will most definitely be going with them again.
