Very welcoming by all the staff. Carolyn made us feel very at home and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Brenda enjoyed her rump steak on a hanging skewer and my Ostrich was just like a lean steak, the sauce was so sweet and tasty, would highly recommend it. Will be going again soon. Parking: I am disabled and parked on the double yellow lines

The food is definitely unique for Cornwall, but was a bit expensive and regrettably wasn't to our taste. That's not to fault the service or atmosphere which were top notch. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Dietary restrictions: Accommodated for a diner with an intolerance to gluten and dairy.

If you're looking for authenticity, then look no further. The service is kind and friendly and the vibe... well, I could have been in Cape Town. I nearly forgot where I was, but soon got brought back down to earth when i saw a man through the window, eating a pasty. That poor man might never know the joy of a boereworse or drinking an ice cold Windhoek Lager. We can't all be that lucky, but i am, and so could you! My only complaint is that I couldn't eat everything on the menu. I plan to remedy this by frequent future visits! Many thanks to everyone at Amanzi, my fiancé and I had a great time and will be back soon!

Lovely restaurant with pavement seating out front to have a coffee and watch the world go by on the popular walking street. Also has balcony seating out the back with views over the harbour. Interesting African themed interior with comfy seating. Really friendly staff and looked after us well.

Update - back again in May 2023. Just as good as we remembered, this time with daughter, she had the catch of the day (sole) with saffron rice, beautifully done. A must visit restaurant if you're in Falmouth. Recommend you reserve table. *********** Highly recommended this restaurant. It's small but I think that adds to the ambience. Being a vegetarian I was nervous going to a South African cuisine restaurant, but although only one veggie dish on the menu it was an extremely well presented cape malay curry (lentil based) and was delicious. My husband had the tiger prawns in a garlic sauce with chunky chips, the portion was generous and went down very well. We shared malva pudding for dessert which was wonderful. The service was very good, the manager/owner apologised at one point as the waiting staff were new, but there was no need for apologies as we thought they were friendly and attentive. We hope to come back again if it's not booked up.
