My partner and I spent a superb long weekend here as the guests of Debbie and Brian in their immaculate farmhouse conversion. The accommodation was meticulous in its detail, and every possible convenience had been thought out with careful and considered attention. The hot-tub is a must with sea-views and no road noise whatsoever. Breakfast was delivered to the room and it was superb every morning. An excellent choice was on offer with the option of evening meals if required along with home-made truffles and cake. The farmhouse is simple to locate, has ample parking and is within walking distance of several good pubs and restaurants if you utilise the Cleveland way which is right outside. All in all, look no further!

We had such a lovely stay at the Alum House suite. Our room was immaculate, comfortable and so luxurious. The bed was the most comfortable ever!!!! with sumptuous bedding and pillows. Our room had a hot tub in it's own secluded terrace which was very relaxing and lovely to use. There are chairs and tables on the terrace so you can take a cuppa out or even have your breakfast there. Our breakfast was served in our room and was delicious, beautifully presented and plentiful. They have another room, called The Forge, where you can sit and chill out with an honesty bar which has a great supply of drinks. We had food off the Supper Board served in there, the food was delicious. Local fish served beautifully. There's also a selection of games. It's a lovely cosy room and perfect if you don't want to venture out. Debbie is the perfect host and can't do enough to make your stay perfect. We found homemade treats to eat after our walk, the tea and coffee facilities in the room are high quality with fresh milk available, a selection of teas and a Nespresso machine. Can highly recommend.
