Unfortunately will will not get an opportunity to stay here as the way our booking was handled so poorly. Misleading booking conditions on the website and staff no help. It says on the website next to booking alterations can be made up to 7 days prior to the booking but the terms state 14 days. Kept our money and no offer to change dates. Luckily plenty of other campsites available to choose from who are more accommodating, understanding of changes and do not hold customers to the letter of the law, as Ted Hastings would say.

Lovely site with outstanding scenery - lots of walks, cycle routes, children's playground, mini golf, watersports and a cafe all in or next to site. Good, clean facilities and friendly wardens. Definitely recommended Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly all over the site and in the cafe.

Stayed over a weekend as a base to explore the area. Lovely staff and extremely helpful. Our only observation was that most people who had dogs at the site totally ignored the rule that they should be on leads and let them roam everywhere, it was clearly not enforced by the sites staff, if we had taken our dog it would have been a problem.
