We were there for just one night, arrived at the hotel, the staff were very friendly and polite, however I am writing to express my disappointment and concern about the experience I had during my recent stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, the room that my fiancé and I were assigned to had a significant damp issue that was clearly visible on one of the corners of the room, which appeared to be coming from the top. As someone with asthma, my fiancé requires a clean and safe environment to breathe in, and the damp issue in our room was a significant health and safety concern. I must stress that the presence of damp in a hotel room is not only a significant inconvenience for guests but also a serious health hazard, particularly for those with respiratory conditions such as asthma. My fiancé had to endure breathing difficulties during our stay, which could have been entirely avoidable if the issue had been addressed promptly. I believe that this hotel has failed to meet its duty of care to provide a safe and healthy environment for its guests. I trust that you will take this matter seriously and take steps to address the damp issue in your hotel to prevent any future guests from experiencing the same problems. Please sort it out asap. For the time being, I would advise against booking this said hotel.
