I have a experienced a lot of injuries over my football career and as a result of this seen a lot of physiotherapists. As a student physio myself I can confidently say Al and Doug are the most knowledgable, professional and skill full Physio’s I have come across. They don’t just hand you a few stretches and away you go, they find the route cause of the problem and treat you how you would be treated in a professional sporting environment. If you’re looking help, this is 100% the place to go.

I was recommended by a friend to visit Altius Healthcare and see Doug to help aid my recovery from two bulging discs and leg pain. I had originally been seeing another physio for 6-8 weeks and felt I just wasn't progressing. Since seeing Doug, I have seen a huge improvement and I feel like I am progressing each week which I feel is key during a recover phase. Doug is clearly very knowledgeable, and he was able to use his experience to find the root cause of my issues and then act upon accordingly. I am looking forward to continuing my recovery journey with Doug and the team at Altius Healthcare. All of the staff are really friendly, and I would recommend this practice to anyone.

Having seen two orthopaedic surgeons and got conflicting information for a very painful knee a brace was recommended. It needed fitting and Altus was recommended. I am so glad I found them. The level of professionalism plus kindness is quite special. More than anything I Needed to understand what my problem was. So, after X-ray and ultrasound scan, they suggested treatments and ,today, after two years, I have a clear picture of my problem. It is now manageable without an operation or a brace and I am very grateful.

Couldn’t recommend Altius bury enough. After having a couple of non fault car crashes, struggling with neck and shoulder injury, I seen numerous physios in the north, but these guys have helped me more in a couple of sessions than the other places I’ve used through the insurance all together. Both Alan and Doug are highly experienced and I’m looking forward to becoming more active again due to their treatments. The receptionist Fran is welcoming and offer great customer service.

I had a car crash in December 2021 & I have been having physiotherapy for a few months to treat soft tissue injury on my back & shoulder. Ashley is my therapist & he is extremely thorough & directional in his method of therapy ensuring he concentrates on the particular areas of I am troubled with. Also very knowledgeable about the anatomy of the human body. I was given exercises to do at home in-between sessions.
