This place is to be avoided total chaos. Left a dress to be altered on a Saturday with a promise to be ready following Thursday. Arrived on the day dress found on floor not done. Rushed job while waited poor job not straight even left it pinned. Booze up in brewery comes to mind nice guy but all the gear no idea. Spoilt the evening the dress was being altered for.

Awful. Used in the past with no issues but my last experience means I wont be coming back. I dropped off 7 pairs of jeans 4 months ago and only just got them all back. The work done was very poor as well, most of them were in for being rehemmed, I paid extra for the original hem on some pairs but was later told it wasnt possible, didnt get a refund for the extra I paid for each pair. And the stitching was very uneven. Two pairs came back unfinished, there were holes on both jeans I had said I wanted fixing. I've got them fixed elsewhere, didn't want the headache of taking them back so I didn't bother. I attempted to collect the jeans probably 15 times, most times the shop is closed, other times I'm given a different excuse and told to collect them next week, friday, tomorrow etc. I had most of them back after 3 months of waiting, it was just one pair I waiting for after that. I was told when they'll be done 3 different times and each time they hadn't been done. On the last occassion they weren't ready, I was told 'I wasn't expecting you'. I was way too patient with this, I paid up front, it was around £90, and then had to wait months for a poor job to be done. Never bother with reviews and dont like to leave a negative one but this was really bad.

While they did do a decent job of my weddindress, they caused me so much stress I'm NEVER goping here again. They told me my wedding dress uld be ready at this time on this day. I went to go get it right on time, shop shut. I presume they must of had a good reason like a family emergency and just think to myself I'll come back tomorrow. Came back the next day, it's not finished he says "you can't rush these things, I wanna do a good job not rush job" I'm disappointed but understood and he gives me another date and time to come back. You guessed it, not ready. This carries on for 3 weeks. 3 days before my wedding. Said he'd bring it to my house at 8pm. Nope. My now husband calls at 9pm, my husband is polite and gets hung up on. I was so upset the next morning HE goes in and makes sure they are working on it. A few hours later he goes back gets it. Two days before the wedding!! I should not of had to send my husband to intimate him into doing his job. I'm disabled too, having to keep going to the shop and stuff was difficult for me. He kept telling me "I've cancel other jobs to do this dress" "you can't rush these things" but he took the job, he gave me a time and date and told me it would be ready. He's not new at his job he's not just starting out. He didn't even say it was a rough guess. He said it will be ready. I payed upfront cos I was more convenient for me he didn't ask me to and I feel like cos he already had my money he didn't care. My dress was beautiful and they did a good job but the amount of upset and stress was utterly unacceptable. Service: Alterations
