I was a client at Allington House from January to April of this year. The staff and volunteers are exceptional at their jobs and go above and beyond to make you get the most out of your time there. The house itself is beautiful and really helps you feel safe and secure. The days are full of recovery focused groups and activities which are designed to really help work on yourself. The support and structure are exemplary. Having been in treatment before and seen many other places in my travels, I wouldn't hesitate to say this is by far and away the best example of alcohol and drug addiction rehab I've come across in the UK. I would recommend Allington House to anyone thinking of going into treatment or anyone else involved within this process. Zac D

I walked through the doors of Allington House on 02.12.20 and was there for 16 weeks. I had a 7 day Detox, which was expertly managed, from initial interview with a friendly and attentive Doctor, through the 7 days in good accommodation, healthy food and very kind and caring staff. Allington House is a Peer Led, Abstinence based, 12 Step Programme including principles from AA, NA and CA. Workshops include Relapse Prevention, Step Guides, Self Esteem, and there are Structured Peer Groups, Group Therapy, LGBTQ+ Groups, Gender Groups and a UK leading Chem Sex Group. The 121 weekly counselling sessions are conducted by professionals in the field. And so much more activities supervised by an Excellent, Friendly and Caring Staff Group. I wouldn't be writing this Review if I hadn't walked through those doors. Thank You Allington for giving me back my life. Ax
