Hey guys, I've been trying to get an appointment with Alliance Teaching Practice in Coventry for what feels like forever, and I am seriously unimpressed. Every time I call, they say they're booked up for weeks and weeks. What's the point of having a medical practice if you can never actually see a doctor? I mean, I get that they're probably popular and all, but come on. At least have some kind of system in place for emergencies or urgent cases. Even just some kind of waitlist or cancellation system so people like me don't feel totally stuck. Honestly, I don't want to trash them too much - maybe they do great work when you finally get in to see them. But between the long wait times, the apparent lack of customer service, and the overall feeling that they don't really care about their patients, I can't say I'm all that impressed. So yeah. If you're looking for a healthcare provider in Coventry, I'd probably look elsewhere if I were you. At least until Alliance Teaching Practice sorts out their scheduling situation. Alright, rant over. Thanks for listening.

So to book anything you have to call at 8 A.M. Sometimes they might not even answer. After 9 A.M. it's pointless no one will answer or there will be no vacancies. If you go in person you're lucky to find someone at the desk. If you do they have no idea about anything, have access to nothing and just redirect you to book via phone call. If you manage to book anything they will likely not book the correct thing. The time you book it for will be completely ignored. Want a phone appointment in the afternoon? Sure just wait a month for the next available slot. The day comes and they call in the morning because ''your appointment is roughly when'' (according to them 9 A.M is roughly afternoon if you really squint at it or do a handstand). If you manage to do a test through them and happen to get results... sorry but they are for the wrong thing! Time to do everything from the start! No point in asking what went wrong because they don't know. Just make sure you have around 24 hours of the day available for them to call you for 5 minutes whenever they feel like for your ''scheduled'' appointment. If you have a busy job they'll just say it's up to you to talk with your superiors to give you the time for your appointment. Just casually take a 25 hour break to be on the safe side. Don't want to miss that call! Since you can only average 1 appointment every 2 months with their schedules. If you happen to have results for anything don't worry the person at the desk has no access to them or the person that calls doesn't even work there so for sure they don't have them as well. So don't go to this practice. It's a joke to the NHS and to any health care system. Trust me you will regret. Tried to Post this review through the official NHS Website and got blocked. That's why you won't find reviews there. The silver line is. The guy who blocks the reviews works fast! Promote to answer the phone please!

I am an autistic person who called today to find out how I can get an appointment as when I call at 8:00am I am waiting to speak to someone for 1 hour and 30 minutes. I understand this isn’t the staff’s fault and I hold the utmost respect for the anyone working within the NHS however I cannot get an appointment as once I finally get through, nothing is left. I called today at 15:57 to ask if there are other ways that I can book an appointment and spoke to a woman who refused to give me her name. I work for the NHS myself, I know that by law a patient has the right under the Data Protection Act 1998 to know the first name of who they’re speaking to as they may need it for reference. I can understand if I asked for a surname, but I didn’t. The woman kept advising me to go to the walk in centre or call 111 which in the conversation I said about 3 times I cannot go to the walk in centre as I am autistic and find crowds overwhelming! This causes me to have melt downs which could cause me to injure myself. This woman with a European accent (I describe her as this because I don’t know her name) was extremely rude and kept interrupting me. I politely asked her to stop cutting me off and she replied “I’m not here to listen to your problems”. I asked her for her name and she refused. I don’t think this is a practice that works with people with invisible disabilities or cares to be frank. This is not an autistic friendly practice. Avoid like the plague!!
