Myself and my partner have been living in supported accommodation here at Alliance Living since October 2022, the team here have been extremely supportive to us both, they have gone above and beyond for us, and continue to do so on a daily basis, especially as we found out whilst living here, that my partner has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, Ali, Kitty, Nidia, Charlotte, Katie and all the other staff are always here for us including ensuring we get to hospital appointments and other appointments.Their support is truly fantastic and we are eternally grateful to this fantastic bunch of people. Without their help and support I don't know where we would be now. We consider these wonderful people as our new family and they will forever hold a place dear to our hearts. đź’• Thanks to all of you we love you dearly xxx

Alliance, I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done for me. A special thank you to Nidia, Katie and Lottie for making me feel so welcome into my new accommodation. They provided me with a self care pack, some food and some clothing as I had nothing. They have helped me settle in and I am now able to get my life back on track with their wonderful support. I have been a tenant at their Old Lode Lane property for around 15 months now, and have been housed here more or less since the beginning of this property as Supported Housing. I can honestly say that I have always felt like the staff have my back; Are willing to go above and beyond to help me and ensure that I am safe and feel that way. Having been in several different organisations properties, the quality of Alliance Living is really unparalleled. Each room has an ensuite shower and toilet. The communal areas are extremely well appointed. Smart tv and broadband internet as well as almost all rooms having built in fridges and plenty of storage space. The main support staff: Nidia, Charlotte and Katie are kind and willing to take the time to listen, , to your feelings/thoughts or even just a chat. Ali, the property manager has become someone I see as a genuine friend, and has demonstrated several times that he really does care about my welfare. And I can personally vouch for the fact that not a single member of the staff switch off when they leave. All of those mentioned have given up their personal time to help me with difficulties. I really feel like this is a home, not a homeless halfway house as so many places are. I can not recommend Alliance Living Housing Association more strongly. And will always feel that without them I wouldn't be able to be working towards my goals and actually believe I can get there. Dan Montague

I was referred to Alliance Living by Birmingham City Council homeless team and I have to say I have had such a positive experience with Alliance. They put me in a womens only house and I was looked after with great care and consideration. I was feeling very low and suicidal and Alliance Living offered me great support and helped me live independent again. If only other organisation could take a leaf out of Alliance book. Well done to all staff including Lydia, Charlotte and Katie.
