Really helpful team on the phone, equipment arrived spotless and on time (was particularly impressed with the shine on the cutlery!), and the delivery team were really efficient and friendly. Allens were also incredibly accommodating to a last minute change I needed to make the day before collection - I needed the equipment picking up at 8am and they changed my slot with no problems, or additional charge. 10/10 recommend for any event hire needs. Fantastic customer service. I had issues with internet my end so my order was written and emailed over , with a mistake on our behalf missing a multiplication off our glass order. Meaning for our event we were 100 or so glasses short. Mark a director in the company drove a four hour round trip to get the extra glassware so our event could go ahead. Fantastic customer service we will always continue to use Allens. Great products Great service Great communication Many thanks James and the Team

Very poor way of looking after customers. I have recommended Allens on multiple occasions and dont receive anything back in return. On this particular occasion, it was a client I have recommend Allens to a few years ago. The client has used Allens every year since for crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. The order from the client is in the thousands every time. I request a couple of ovens from Allens for the same event this year and kindly ask that they waive the delivery charge, as they are going to the venue anyway and for the fact that we recommended them to this client. The answer from Allens was a flat no. Allens plates on this event were sub-standard, we couldnt use a large number of them. I instead went to a local event hire company, who have the same quality ovens and for a third of the price. This company have no delivery charges, no cleaning and no deposit required. Allens take note, if you are going to charge extortionate charges, at least provide quality equipment. You should look after suppliers like us just as much you should look after large venues. We all talk and its a small industry!..
