Fantastic food - the whey sauce and vin jaune sauce for the pollock was spectacular. Briefly met the head chef who was lovely, also Cherie (not sure how to spell her name) was welcoming, charming and an absolute delight that made our experience all the better.

Absolutely amazing food and the lady taking care of our table was an angel, I believe her name was Cherie, did an absolutely incredible job. She made every effort to improve our meal and amplified the experience beyond just the food. Despite all this, the entire night almost never happened... We almost walked out after being greeted by a very rude member of staff who turned out to be the barman. We approached him as he was the only member of staff close to the entrance at the time. Before we'd even opened our mouths, he very sternly asked us if we had a reservation. Which we did. To which he barked, "Go stand over there then." I don't care how bad your day has been. Greeting customers with that level of disrespect is out of line. Thank god for Cherie! she saved the night and turned this from a 1 star review into a 5 star one.

The environment and the service were great. The lunch set menu is good value for money. The dishes take a surprising combination of ingredients but all taste very good, a bit too salty for me though.
