My daughter is 12 and been dancing with All Stars since she was 3. She absolutely loves it and the teachers and other students are like a family to her. All Stars has provided so many wonderful opportunities and memories like the biennial shows which are so well done and amazing to watch. It’s such a proud moment watching all the hard work of all the children in these shows and these truly are great performances not ones you just have to pretend are great because it’s your children in them. All Stars participates in competitions too and this has taught my daughter so much from practice and determination, courage and confidence, managing disappointment to the high of success. I know from friends and colleagues that shows and competitions are not a given in all dance schools with some preferring to focus only on syllabus and exams. After being part of All Stars for so many years I can see why some schools would do this as it takes an enormous amount of drive and energy to make these happen. As a parent the school appreciates your support and help with performances but at no time do you feel unduly pressured which for me is just the right balance. I would definitely recommend All Stars to anyone looking for the full dancing experience for their child.
