During heritage open days the church tower is open to visitors, for a modest fee. It's a tight little climb to the top past the church bells. Great views along the river Blackwater; from the church towers of Maldon; with Northey and Osea Islands clearly visible, all the way down the Blackwater to Bradwell power station. Looking back in the other direction there are good views down Church Hill, across to New Hall Vineyards. Take binoculars; and a decent camera if you want to capture it properly, Aside from that, it's a beautiful little church with many interesting features.

Church is mainly C14th and restored C19th. Original stained glass windows at the east end and 2 at the north end. This is a Grade 1 listed building and is open for viewing.
