Spontaneous meal and drinks out with a friend. The service was good and so was the food. My friend has a lot of intolerances so she got given an allergy guide which was super helpful! We have to avoid a lot of places because of it usually! We had some…a lot, of cocktails and they were all great. I think we were served by the manager and she was amazing! Instead of feeling like we were being overly awkward with the intolerances, we were made to feel relaxed and welcome. I’ve been to this all bar one before, having loved the ones I’d been to previously elsewhere, maybe a year or so ago and it was absolutely shocking. Food was awful, we had about (no joke) 8 empty pint glasses on the table and every time someone came over to serve more drinks, no one took anything away and it was the same on other tables. It wasn’t even busy. The food was awful, I ordered the steak and it had to be sent back twice. The manager at the time (male, so I assume different to now) dealt with it in a very unprofessional way, basically shouting at the kitchen staff and also didn’t clear any of the many glasses on the table either, despite coming over to respond to a complaint!! I’d sadly avoided it since but I’m glad I gave it another go! Much, much improved. Will definitely be going again 😁

Considering there was only a dozen or so people there at 12pm on a Wednesday afternoon, it's safe to say it wasn't busy. We ordered two chicken and avocado salads. The chicken was so dry you had to have a drink after every bit. Not once in the time that we were in there did the waitress come over and ask if everything was ok so we thought ok, we'll tell her when she comes to collect our plates when she sees we have finished. Once finished, we had our drinks, waiting in part for the waitress to come over. She didn't. We made a big show of leaving, getting out things together etc. still nothing. Worth mentioning that she walked past us several times but pretty much ignored us. Shocking service, mediocre food. Dread to think what it's like when it's busy!
