  I heard via a friend about Alison's and Fiona's 'Your Kitchen Design in a Box', and after looking at what it offered, I thought it sounded like such a brilliant idea. I had an idea of what I wanted but I've had a few interior design disasters in my time so wanted a helping hand to get this right as didn't want any costly mistakes. One of the main things Alison helped with was a particular wall paint colour I wanted to complement a curtain fabric. I wanted to pick out the green in the fabric for the wall heading into our garden and I had spent a fortune buying green paint samples that looked right online or in shops but never were when I tried them out at home. I bought 14 samples in total and had all but given up on ever finding the right green. Alison found four that worked immediately - and they all looked lovely. Her advice on other aspects in our kitchen/diner were brilliant, too, such as on a rug that would pull the whole look together and how to make more of a feature out of a built-in shelf/cupboard unit. Alison produced my design quickly but I didn't feel it was in any way rushed; the complete opposite, it was really well thought out and she clearly knows many shops that I'd never heard of and that would have taken me hours of research.   Alison was a god send to us - knowing that we were in her safe hands to guide us through decisions about room layout, lighting plans, flooring choices, furniture choices, wall colours, window dressing and curtain fabrics was invaluable. She went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable with the choices we made - giving us additional time and also additional options. Alison also introduced us to curtain and flooring suppliers who were really helpful - she managed the relationships with these providers all the way through the process to make sure we got the service and look we were after.   Exceptional Interior Designer Engaging Alison to help us through a substantial remodel and renovation of our family home was the best decision we ever made! Over the course of 16 months she transformed our home into a practical and beautiful space, and we are thrilled with the results! Before commencing the project, Alison made sure we had a budget in place and provided advice on where to spend and save. As an interior designer she made sure the ‘bones’ of each room were perfect: layout, lighting, electrics, flooring, and cabinetry. Thanks to her expertise we avoided making costly mistakes and future-proofed our home by making good design decisions that will stand the test of time. Alison created beautiful and imaginative interior schemes for everywhere from the bijou downstairs cloakroom to our large open plan kitchen-dining room and master bedroom. Alison was meticulous in her attention to detail and brilliant at sourcing everything we needed for the project.   Initially I met with Alison to discuss a full design service for a couple of rooms however we loved her ideas so much she practically redesigned the whole house. Alison is a thoughtful, creative designer with an amazing eye for colour and detail. Each room she has designed flows into the next creating a very beautiful yet functional home. Alison considers every aspect of a design, from light switches to curtain colours to kitchen layouts. Throughout the project Alison spent time asking questions regarding our own style and requirements, this considered approach was then reflected in the excellent designs she presented at our meetings. She took our ideas and concepts but then using her expert knowledge elevated them to the next level. I would not hesitate in using Alison again for any other future projects. The team at Alison Anderson Interiors were easy to deal with, used clever initiatives to maximise smaller spaces and all with an incredible eye for detail. The end result is truly astounding.
