    A really nice gym not far from the center of Edinburgh. I am a relative novice (I climb in the V2-3 range usually) but I found a lot of stuff I could climb and project from overhangs to slabs in what was a perfect midpoint between a hyper-modern gym and a dusty old spray wall in a basement. There was a Moonboard and an area dedicated finger/grip training. There were two upstairs areas, one dedicated to weights (fairly sparse, if I recall) and the other was a very cool social spot with some seating and cool traversing boulder problems that stay lower to the ground. If I had more time I would have wanted to try that out but I found out about it on my way out unfortunately. The walls themselves have some really interesting features and pitches like the "death star" you see in some of the photos as well as a big crack climbing feature with several routes set along it. In all, some great variety of routes. Overall there was great and interesting route-setting throughout the gym. The place feels like it has been a around a while and has some worn edges in the perfect way: like a worn-in baseball glove. I would have preferred a more complete workout area in my dream gym, but if you're just going to climb, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better experience.

    Fab walls for bouldering! I've come as a complete newbie with some more experienced friends. There are challenges suitable for us all and everyone is so incredibly supportive! Fully covered crash mat floors and very helpful staff on site
