Alice was wonderful and did the most beautiful hair and make up on my wedding day! My hair and make up got so many compliments from the guests throughout the day. My hair stayed perfectly in place (and then looked beautifully disheveled for the last hour of dancing) and looked so shiny despite plenty of hairspray to hold it. Alice was so patient and committed to getting the style right during the hair trial and it looked exactly as we had practiced it on the day! Alice was so calm and lovely to work with on the morning and everything ran like clockwork with the schedule she had sent over, without feeling like there was any urgency. If you're looking for a wedding hair and make-up stylist, look no further, Alice Porter is fantastic! On a day-to-day basis, I don't wear any make-up and even when I go out, my limit is lip gloss and a bit of eyeliner. I have sensitive skin and very little experience with make-up, so when it came to choosing a stylist for my wedding I was very nervous. After some Google searching and research I found Alice's website. I was impressed by how natural and elegant the hair and make-up looked in the pictures. After exchanging a few emails with Alice, in which we discussed my concerns (mentioned above), I felt very comfortable and decided to go ahead and arranged a hair and make-up trial with Alice. The trial was a great experience and really calmed my nerves. Alice was lovely, she listened to what I wanted, I showed her some pictures and we tried a few different hairstyles and products and created the exact natural look I was hoping for; I was over the moon! Alice even gave me some tips on how to look after my skin on the run up to the wedding (which I followed religiously and quickly noticed an improvement in the condition of my skin). On the morning of the wedding Alice was amazing. She was a lovely calming influence, very friendly and incredibly professional. She got to work on my bridesmaids first and then me. I was so pleased with my final look, it was somehow even better than the trial; I felt like a million dollars. My bridesmaids loved their hair and make-up too and it filled them with joy and confidence. Our make-up remained flawless all day, even though it was a warm sunny day. I got loads of compliments on how beautiful my skin looked and how natural my make-up was. I was delighted! I'm so grateful that I found Alice. She really helped make a special day even more wonderful. So, as I said at the beginning, look no further, Alice Porter is fantastic! Thank you so much Alice!

Alice did such an amazing job of my hair and makeup and my bridesmaids for my big day. I’m not a big make up wearer usually so didn’t want to look over the top. My makeup was natural bridal but still me and I felt so confident. Communication was always great and nothing too much trouble. On the morning itself, she was calm and efficient which made it such a great atmosphere for getting ready. I can’t recommend her highly enough, thank you!
