The service was not an issue with this place; as it was perfect, and I got treated right. However, the food was so underwhelming. The amount of chips was not what I was expecting, given the price. Also, the hotdog was just okay. The chicken burgers that my friends got were lacking big time, and definitely needs work doing. Also, the Mayo and the spicy Mayo is super tangy. I don’t know why that was given as a condiment, but it was outright awful. It is expensive, and I cannot justify paying that much again for food that is below average. On a positive note, shakes were good, but it’s not really hard to mess up a skittles milkshake.

Read some of the bad reviews. You can’t please everyone and some people expect too much. I order here regularly, the staff are always friendly and polite, the food is amazing. They are clean and courteous and genuinely look after the customers. I’d give more stars if I could, thanks again guys. Will be coming again soon ❤️

I came to collect a butterfly chicken salad for my mum around 21:50 and Alfie’s closes at 22:00. Got home and it was a raw chicken, proper rubbery. Couldn’t call the same night as they closed by the time I got my food and got home, I rang the very next day, first thing in the morning and told them about this incident. The guy who answered apologised and went to double check with a manager and promised to give me the same meal for free next time so they took my name down. As how it should be as it’s my hard work earning, I spent that money on that meal I should be getting the food I paid for, cooked food, not some raw chicken that goes straight in the bin. Anyhow I called Alfie’s 2 days ago to get the same order for my mum which I was promised to get for free.. I was rudely been told that ‘we can’t do that however we can offer you 10% of your order or give you a free dessert as the manager I had spoken with isn’t here’ I was highly disappointed as to why I was lied to at first and now I have to consider when the manager is working so I can get my food? How pathetic. I asked for the complaints procedure and so I told everything to the owner of Alfie’s on a WhatsApp group chat. The owner was very unhelpful and rudest out of all. The way he handled it was horrible. He took his staff side and said why I didn’t ring them straight away when it happened? Erm maybe because you closed??? He was extremely in denial and started lying saying he was there when this conversation happened, when in fact he wasn’t there as the things he said had never happened on that call so he clearly is lying. I don’t know how they are running a business by selling raw chicken to customers, lying to customers, being rude and being pathetic. Someone needs to teach them that customers are always right. I just thought I’ll make you all aware that be careful as the owners and staff here are horrible and will sell you a raw chicken and will lie at your face.
