I attended phlebotomy yesterday and the nurse was an angel. I am super anxious of having my bloods taken especially after having a not so pleasant experience last week elsewhere and therefore referred onto phlebotomy. She was kind, caring and helped to reassure me and relax. Also, when I arrived at the main entrance to the hospital, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who directed me to where I needed to go which was very helpful and appreciated

Please refer to st John's medical center review as am currently sat on a ward here and so far the patient care is at second to everything else might change review highly unlikely though I do understand that it gets busy but the service is appalling 4th time on three occasions was sent home after being told that my kidney stone is over 20 mm taking into account a normal stone is 1-2mm and that it would be operated on in December am still waiting what a joke Worcester NHS trust is lacking in everything especially caring staff have now waited 12 hours for pain relief and on that I wish I was joking well have now had operation nurses were much better but I don't take other people's rubbish I learn my rights and push other people to make sure I receive them shame it took 5 visits to teach the nurses bed side manners but 5 is better than 6 I suppose worse bit is in here and worcs you can't go anywhere else for kidney stones the surgery team were amazing though they kept me calm and informed at all times so for them it would be a 5 not a 1 but my advice would be to not get kidney stones in the first place

Had to visit the Alexandra podiatry department? The appointment went without a hitch. What I didn't realise at first though? Was that the car park has been somewhat changed? For disabled parking? Do not turn right as you enter the hospital drive way? Oh no don't do it? Carry on down to the island in front of main hospital entrance? Go around the island and turn left into the disabled car park as you go up little drive turn right and there you are? Easy when you know how? No notifications of changes made? To the unsuspecting driver? Like myself I ended up going around the usual car park until I'd figured it out? 🙃
