FAQ

What types of fish do you farm?

We farm a variety of fish including carp, roach, tench, bream, and perch.

What is your farm's stocking density?

Our stocking density varies depending on the type of fish and the size of our ponds. We aim to maintain a healthy environment for our fish and ensure that they have enough space to swim and grow.

How are your fish fed and what do you feed them?

Our fish are fed a balanced diet of commercial pellets and occasionally supplemented with natural foods such as worms and insects. We feed them multiple times a day, closely monitoring their feeding habits to avoid overfeeding and maintain their health.

What measures do you take to ensure the quality and safety of your fish?

We regularly test our water quality to ensure that it is within safe limits for our fish. We also monitor our fish for any signs of disease or infection and take immediate action if necessary. Our fish are harvested and transported under strict hygienic conditions to maintain their quality and safety.

Do you have any certifications or accreditations relevant to fish farming?

Yes, we are certified by the British Trout Association and have received numerous awards for our sustainable and ethical farming practices. We are committed to maintaining high standards in our operations and regularly seek out new certifications and accreditations to improve our practices.

Well.. stayed a couple of nights. Very friendly place had a go at target shooting didn't fish but it looks great tackle shop on site. It's a developing site, so there's a bit of building work.

Great fishery and tackle shop Son caught first ever fish However, missed the sign on entrance saying closed at dusk. It was the first time there Most people would not assume that means a hidden iron gate will pull out and lock you in the property if you are slightly late Emailed to ask about this but received no reply. We were not told about the gate when buying the ticket in the tackle shop We were locked behind a gate in the middle of nowhere at 6:25 checked dusk is at 6pm right now and you would have thought they would have, noticed my car was still in the car park. When drove past the building we got tickets from there were no lights on. A car eventually turned up going back in and someone claiming to be 'a resident' not the owner let us out. Perhaps would have just put it down to experience and been the butt of my wife's jokes but not with an 8 year old with me and no reply .
