This place is a joke. I approached them in 2016 when my wife was displaying symptoms of stress induced psychosis. They did nothing. Dr Whitty instead turned it all into a 'relationship issue' between my wife and I (despite the fact that she was displaying similar symptoms as those she displayed in the lead up to her hospitalization in 2012). Absolute disgrace of a place. Will never forgive them as I was held accountable in 2012 for not doing enough to protect my wife and I family when she fell in. Yet when I asked for help 4 years later in 2016 they did nothing to help support her/us.

I’ve had many hospital apts - including a hysterectomy - Alderney appear to be enjoying dragging out COVID and neglecting patients! There’s been language barriers which I tried to deal with but now I’m sort-harming after years and struggling day to day! Alderney - get a grip and stop using COVID as an excuse! You’re not even offering therapy or counselling unless we (who desperately need) can go online!

I've had a horrendous experience with the CMHT based at Alderney Hospital. Within a space of about 7-8 months I've had two different doctors, neither of which passed on information to eachother and only 3 appointments. Each time I've had my appointment, the doctors have been late (once by an hour?!) and extremely unprofessional. The lack of support, care and general knowledge or compassion for any mental struggle you're dealing with is truly pathetic. Looking forward to moving practices.

I would never recommend this service to my friends and family; you're better off just keeping quiet. The staff do not care how you really feel- all the clients are, is a number on a list that provides them with a pay check. I get more support from a 10 minute appointment with my gp twice a month, than I do from the CMHT.
