I sent my grandmothers ring to be repaired by Albone Jewellers and I am very happy with the entire process. I sent it via recorded delivery and was updated as soon as it arrived. My ring was fixed at the quoted price and returned to me via post. The entire process was very easy and I was very happy with the price and the end result. The ring means a lot to me so I was nervous about it being fixed however Albone Jewellers updated me the entire way and I felt that it was in safe hands.

A minute and a half is a long time to wait just to get the opening hours from their answer phone. A minute and a half of not great music playing before the opening hours are proffered. I understand what a nightmare it must be for businesses at the moment with the CoVid 19 crisis going on, but a simple message giving the opening hours isn't a difficult thing to get right.

So, I've been after a particular watch (Breitling Steelfish) for a while, and saw one on Ebay being sold by Albone. Steve dealt with my queries, promptly and nothing was too much trouble and supplied extra photos when requested . The watch was posted RM Special Delivery to me as part of the deal and when I opened it, I was extremely pleased with the overall condition. It was better than I expected, and in first class condition. Photos never really capture the detail of a watch, and although I could tell it was a good one from the large scale photos supplied - you just don't know until you have it in your hands. It didn't disappoint. I've bought and sold lots of watches over the years using AD's and second hand specialist such as Watchfinder. In my view, Albone are up there with them. They even supplied a 12 month guarantee too.
