Where do I start dealing with Ivy who is the front of house of this business did not know we had a funeral.plan for my late mother, wrong details on order of service only noticed by Us the day before ,despite asking for funeral car to attend house never turned up and to cap it all off wrong remains returned to us also charged 2000£ to transport body from gwent to their premises scandalous despite lodging complaint with Trade body got no where all this occurred in 2019 and despite her assurances that it wouldn't happen again it DID ,I did ask what control measures would be put in place so that other families would not suffer this incident ,obviously no lessons learnt ,please consider your choices of Funeral director carefully.

The difficult loss of a much loved father last June was compounded by the numerous mistakes made by the lady at Hicks, including posting the funeral announcement in the paper for 3 days after the funeral took place, not being able to source the music we wanted (so we had to arrange it ourselves) and giving us the wrong ashes. Such a shame as some of the people in the company were lovely. Today we attended the funeral of my sister who passed suddenly and we used the services of Toveys instead. Everything was perfect and for £600 less we also had use of a limousine, photo tribute and webcast for those who couldnt make it.
