From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, Kevin was super responsive, upbeat, and had a great sense of humor that put us at ease. Many guests at our wedding commented on how cool and fun he was (not an easy feat while trying to organize group photos!). One thing I really like about Kevin's work is the range you get. You get your classic romantic portraits, your candid guest shots, and you get some shots with an artistic flare (my personal favorite). We loved our experience with Kevin and can't wait to get a photo album made!

When we first started planning our wedding in 2019, Kev was one of the first people we got in touch with. After seeing his work online, we knew we didn't want anyone else to photograph our day, and from the moment we first got in touch with him it was clear we'd made an excellent decision! Kev was professional and friendly from the very start, and so accommodating when it came to having to reschedule our wedding again and again during the course of the pandemic. His flexibility and kind words made what could have been a really stressful time that much easier. When it came to the day Kev really listened to what we wanted and with his relaxed demeanour put everyone at ease. We are not particularly comfortable in front of the camera but he captured so many brilliant moments: from the early stages of getting ready to late into the reception. We absolutely love the photos (our house looks a bit like a shrine now as we printed so many) and will cherish the memories forever. Faded into the background when needed and grabbed us for some great shots when he saw the right moments. The pictures are incredible. We struggled to choose which to print for weeks. Just the best EVER! From the amazing pre wedding shoot that was just such a laugh, to being so understanding when the wedding got cancelled because of COVID, to rescheduling and then just being the best on the day when it finally got here, Kev has been so much fun to work with and to get to know. He has such a great natural way about him that put us both at ease, as well as all our guests. We had some many comments on how great he was! And the photos are just out of this world. We are not the most comfortable people in front of the camera, but Kev worked wonders and really made it look like we knew what we were doing. I spent ages agonising over which ones to print because they all look amazing. He does these amazing videos too, which are just stunning - brought me to (happy!) tears and gave us something really special to show the people who couldn’t be with us because of everything. Kev gave us something really special, and we are so grateful. Such a talented photographer and even more than that, a really genuine and lovely person. Thanks for everything Kev, only wish we could do it all again!!

When your first look at your wedding photos bring responses such as "wow, we look like movie stars!" mixed with 'oohs' and 'ahhs' like you're watching a fireworks display, combined with a good bit of laughter, you know you picked a cracking photographer. Long review below but basically Kev was the best! He calmed everyone right down, captured amazing candid and staged moments, and let us be 'us' in the photos! After I got engaged I spent hours trawling Google and instagram for an amazing wedding photographer, and I came across Kev's website. The photos were amazing, he had five star reviews, but the biggest thing that appealed to me was how he went above and beyond for his clients. Whether that be making them feel comfortable in front of the camera (my husband and I are quite awkward), knowing how to make an unruly 5 year old stand still (and smile) for photos, and he is one of the few photographers that doesn't sod off after the first dance!! Due to Covid we had to cancel our wedding in June and instead opted have a smaller ceremony in August at the Bar Convent Chapel in York. Thankfully Kev was able to rearrange some plans and was able to join us which we are eternally grateful for as we love the photos so much. Kev was the best at chatting with the guests (they all loved him), he somehow remembered everyones names and was so good with dealing with my 'enthusiastic' 5 year old nephew! I couldn't get over how great the photos were and I honestly was a bit mesmerised as to how Kev captured them as I didn't even notice him taking most of them, he really did just blend in! I would recommend Kev to everyone that wants to feel relaxed and comfortable on their wedding day, safe in the knowledge that all the special moments will be captured by Kev. We are having Kev photograph our blessing and reception in 2022 as well, that is how amazing he is!
