Poor service, slow communication and when our business partner decided to leave the business they wanted to change an extra £250 to re-sign. You were selling the same business and not the Director that left! Further to your comment, there seems to be some confusion on the version of events which need clarifying, there were a number of occasions where it took over a week to get responses to emails which is very frustrating. At no point did we have a dispute between partners on a price during a prospective sale, there was an occasion when you recommended a price adjustment the one partner agreed without consultation and this was stopped. It would appear you have completely forgotten it was the potential buyer after agreeing a price and starting the legal work that then returned to you and wanted an addition £10k off the price, it was at this point because of the buyers unethical business practice that we cancelled the sale with them and would not proceed any further as they could no longer be trusted. You did make comment to us that you had never had the client come back after offer and try to reduce the price, I find it very odd that you are blaming the vendor and not the buyer for this but I suppose it makes my point that communication wasn’t good

I have recently sold my online friendship business with the help of Alan Picken and his team. The team were very knowledgeable and helped guide us through the whole sales procedure. They also provided legal paperwork. It was good to have an agent on board who could manage the sale objectively. On a day to day basis, Isla was wonderful, responding promptly to queries and being a friendly voice at the end of the phone when I had any questions. Recommended.

I bought half share of this business from Alan Pickens in 2006 2 years after my business partner bought the whole business in 2004. In 2020 we decided to semi retire and sell up. Our first agents were not very good and after 12 months we moved the sale back to Alan Pickens. Picken’s sold our business this year in a matter of months. This is the third time this company have sold our cleaning business from 2002. Good service and if i was looking to sell or buy again would use Alan, Isla and Fraser again. Highly recommended AA++

Be careful with this company. My mum asked him for advice. Alan then sent an invoice for 3k. Avoid. They also remove negative reviews Updat to the reply on this thread : That all sounds great, but when the signature is fraudulently acquired against the clients knowledge then this becomes a whole different situation. You know what you did. I urge people to be very careful.
